Unlike the low cost internet based companies, we don’t out source any of our services. All our surveys are undertaken by our highly experienced chartered building surveyors (Ben and Nick) each with over 15 years experience. They will speak to you to understand your needs and call after the survey to provide initial feedback. Being in house, they are always available to assist you and answer your questions.

Clear reporting

All of our reports are issued with clear and concise information supported with costs and photographs. We don’t bulk out reports with unnecessary information so you won’t need to go hunting for the findings and advice you need.

Costs

The costs for remedying defects and repairs are provided in our reports. A priority traffic light system is used so that you know which items are urgent, essential or are recommended.

Flexible service

Most reports are adapted to suit each instruction, however we can tailor the survey inspection and report to suit your requirements.

Document review

As part of our building survey we review all relevant and available documentation. This can include the EPC, warranties, recent repairs, recent building works. If you intend to make alterations then we can review details and provide comment.

Legal team support

Your legal team won’t attend the property and so they will need to rely upon our findings to be their eyes and ears. We will identify any legal issues for your solicitor to follow up on. We can also discuss any such issues with them to ensure the problem is addressed.

Services & plant

For complex properties with air conditioning or swimming pools, we can arrange for one of our known specialists to attend and provide added expertise.

Inspection

The key part to any building survey is the quality of the inspection. We only have experienced surveyors who know what to look for. They will do all they can to undertake a thorough inspection. Ladders and camera poles are taken to every property.

Our strength is being able to establish your requirements and undertaking the right inspection and report for your needs. Your surveyor will update you immediately on critical items and will always be available to discuss findings and next steps.
